Olympus OMD E-M10 MkII - One Month Review
Finding the right Camera can be tricky, especially as beginner - one that's user-friendly, versatile, and encourages you to practice more. In this review, I share my first month experience with my Olympus OMD E-M10 MK II, a compact mirrorless camera tailored to meet the needs of newcomers to the world of photography. Here I share my experiences, highlighting its ease of use, image quality, and suitability for beginners. Whether you're stepping into photography for the first time or looking for an intuitive tool to hone your skills, this review aims to provide valuable guidance for your journey.
My Kit
My current kit is very simple: Olympus OMD E-M10 Mark II, Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 II R MSC, and a Rope Strap. I have deliberately aimed to make taking photos as easy and straightforward as possible to help me practice more. After all, my goal with this site and my photography is simply to improve.
Algarve
Travelling during COVID-19 was strange. Usually busy tourist spots were deserted and the Algarve was no exception. This was ideal for an amateur photographer as the streets and beaches were empty, which meant no early wake-ups to capture landscapes with no people during the week stay we travelled the length of the Algarve from Faro to Sange.
The Hanwell Project
“Hanwell?” “Where's that?” It was always the response when we told people where we were moving to. Hanwell was once the Westernmost point of London, and it's still the most western suburb with a W postcode, W7. It is located in the Borough of Ealing, between West Ealing to the East, the River Brent to the West, Greenford to the North and Brentford to the South. It is a pretty suburb with many parks and is most famously the birthplace of Marshall Amps.
